Management plays a vital role in preparing future global leaders. However, getting into one of the top b-school is a cumbersome task. For sake of motivation, here is the list of top management colleges in India.

IIM-Bangalore (Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore), established in 1973, is a top-ranked institute among all the IIMs in India. It offers management courses at Postgraduation and Doctoral level. NIRF 2019 ranked the institute in the number 1 position.

PGP is it’s most sought after program globally. Indian Institute of Management Bangalore also offers degree programs in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM), one year full-time Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP).

Recent Placement Report: Average Domestic salary up at Rs.24.54 LPA from Rs.22.76 LPA last year, Average International Salary Up at Rs.62.30 LPA from Rs.58.20 LPA last year, No. of PPOs Made-170; Accepted-125, International Offers made-15, Lateral Placement Offers made-142; accepted-110.

Consulting Firms Emerged as Top Recruiting Domain with 161 Offers, Accenture emerged as a top recruiter with 30 offers, 488 Placement Offers Made to 411 Students, 100% Placement achieved in 2 days.

IIM-Ahmedabad (Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad) is one of the top-ranked management institutes of India. The Government of India MHRD NIRF Ranking 2019 has placed IIM Ahmedabad in the second position.

In 2008, IIMA became the first business school in the country to be awarded EQUIS accreditation. Case Studies of IIM Ahmedabad are quoted and discussed in the classrooms of top MBA college across the world.

Recent Placement Report: About 123 firms participated in 184 different roles in the placement process in 2019. The audited placement data 2019 reveal that PGP 2017-19 batch average salary has gone up remarkably at Rs.25.83 LPA as against Rs.24.45 LPA last year while the highest domestic salary has gone down at Rs.70 LPA this year from Rs. 72 LPA last year.

The highest international offer has also gone up at Rs.83.51 LPA as against Rs. 66 Lakhs last year. The difference between the Highest and Average Salary narrows down. 

IIM-Calcutta (Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta) was established as the first National Institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India in November 1961.

The B-school has earned a global reputation for imparting high-quality management education. IIM Calcutta is triple crowned. It has earned 3 International Accreditations AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS and is the only B-school with these three Accreditations. Also, known as the best campus for Finance domain aspirants.  

Recent Placement Report: IIM Calcutta has concluded its final placement 2020 for its 55thbatch of PGP class 2020 with 492 offers made by 136 recruiters to 439 participating students. Achieving yet again 100% placement from top recruiters, the average salary in Placement 2020 has gone up at Rs.28 LPA from Rs.25.36 lakhs steep hike over last year salary.
The consulting sector has claimed a 31% share in placement 2020 with The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Co., Bain & Co., Kearney, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture emerging as top recruiters.

IIM-Lucknow (Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow) Established in 1984, IIM Lucknow is the 4th in the prestigious IIM family of management schools. IIML moulds its students into value-driven leaders, managers and global players.

The institute undertakes a diverse range of academic activities aimed at the creation, dissemination and application of management knowledge and practice. The Number of students studying at IIM Lucknow is more than 1000.

Recent Placement Reports: The highest international salary package (CTC) offered to a student was Rs 58.47 lakhs while the highest domestic salary package (CTC) was Rs 54 lakh. The mean salary of students came to around Rs 24.25. 
Some of the top recruiters across different sectors were Accenture, Amazon, American Express, Asian Paints, AT Kearney, Avendus Capital, Axis Capital, Bain & Co, Citi, Colgate Palmolive, Deloitte, Ernst and Young, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, ICICI Bank, Investec, ITC and Uber.

XLRI, Jamshedpur is a premier, private management institute in India. One of the oldest management institutes in India was founded in 1949 by Fr Quinn Enright, S.J. in the ‘steel city’ of Jamshedpur. Recent Placement Reports: XLRI has concluded its placement season 2020 in just 2 days after achieving 100% placement for its students. XLRI Placement 2020 has witnessed a substantial rise in average salary which has gone up to Rs. 24.30 LPA from Rs. 22.35 LPA last year.
Average salary saw an increase to Rs.24.30 LPA this year from Rs.22.35 LPA last year. The highest international offer stood at Rs.58.5 LPA from the S&M domain.

FMS, Delhi is one of the premier MBA colleges in India and is in the league of top three IIMs. Quality education, with low fee structure and excellent placement opportunities make FMS, New Delhi as one of the highest RoI B-schools of India.

FMS Delhi has recently hiked its MBA programme fee to Rs.1.92 lakhs from Rs.25,000/- fee includes all the components. The institute has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Recent Placement Records: FMS Delhi Final Placement 2020 for the MBA 2018-20 batch has concluded with a sharp rise in salary packages. While the highest salary has gone up to Rs. 58.6 lakhs in 2020 from Rs.48 lakhs in 2019 last year, the average salary for the batch has shot up at Rs.25.6 lakhs from Rs.23.10 Lakhs last year.
The significant achievement in FMS placement 2020 is the sharp rise of 36% in the number of PPOs offered to the students.

The median salary of the batch stood at INR 25 LPA as against 22 LPA last year. 95% of the batch received offers of INR 18 LPA or above. Highest Salary stood at Rs.51 LPA.

Recent Placement Records: Indian Institute of Management, Indore has achieved a sharp increase of 23.5% in the highest domestic placement package in 2020 which has gone up at Rs.50 LPA from Rs.40.5 LPA last year. The average salary has also recorded a sharp hike and has gone up to Rs.22.92 LPA from Rs.20.79 LPA last year. The batch also saw candidates get two international offers this year.

Recent Placement Records: Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai final placement 2019 for its MMS 2017-19 batch has concluded with a higher average salary, large number of PPOs and marquee companies participating in the placement season.

BFSI has recorded the highest share with 41% of students placed in this sector. Average Salary up at Rs.20.13 LPA in 2019 from Rs.18.91 LPA last year, Highest Salary up at Rs.32.30 LPA in 2019 from Rs.30 LPA last year. Median Salary stood at Rs.20 LPA marking an Increase of 17.6% over last year.

IIM-Kozhikode, Spread over about 111 acres of land, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, is one of the six top IIMs in the country.  It is considered one of the most efficient Institutions in the country.

The institute is situated on two hillocks in the Kunnamangalam Area of the ancient city of Calicut in Kerala. Ranked 8th in the MHRD NIRF 2019 Rankings, Accredited by International Agency AMBA. The institute has a strong International Exchange Programme for students and faculty with several leading Management Institutes in EU and ASEAN countries.

Recent Placement Records: For its largest batch to date consisting of 418 students, the placements witnessed a 12% increase in the mean and 12.4% increase in the median salary from last year. The average salary increased from 20.6 LPA to 23.08 LPA while the median salary increased from 18.5 LPA to 20.8 LPA as compared to last year. The top 50% of the students bagged an average CTC of 26.69 LPA, a 12.5% increase from the last year. Five students chose to opt-out of the process.
