In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are realizing the importance of hygiene. Cleaner the cities, the chances of its residence falling ill is considered low.
Swachh Survekshan award has released the list of top 20 cleanest cities in India. Yet again, Indore has emerged as the cleanest city four times in a row.
Indore is also the financial centre of Madhya Pradesh, the resident is proud to grab such a prestigious award. The development was announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs which has released the survey.
According to the list, the other top cleanest cities in India are as follows; Surat, Navi Mumbai, Ambikapur, Mysore, Vijaywada, Ahmedabad, New Delhi (NDMC), Chandrapur, Khargone.
Indore has become an inspiration for the whole country. The government lead program in the form of Swach Bharat Mission, AMRUT, Smart City Mission along with other initiatives has proven positive development in the last few years.
