The Ministry of Education will soon decide on conducting two remaining editions of the engineering entrance examination Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains & Advance and medical entrance examination NEET UG.
“The situation is being reviewed to decide on the schedule of the pending editions of Joint Entrance Examination-Mains and whether NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1,” Official Statement.
Earlier, Joint Entrance Examination- Advance and NEET examination was postponed due to the pandemic situation. JEE- Advance exam was scheduled for July 3. On the other hand, no further decision was taken on NEET-UG, the registration for the exam, which was supposed to commence from May 1, was temporarily suspended.

Joint Entrance Examination Mains was supposed to happen four times in a calendar year, however, the post-February conducting exam becomes next to impossible. The situation was further triggered to worse after imposing lockdown in several states due to the rapid increase in coronavirus cases.
