The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is offering a six-week online certification course in sports coaching. Interested candidate can apply through an online portal.
The online theory sessions and practical classes in sports coaching will be offered by academic wing Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Patiala. The last date for filling the application form online is May 18. Candidates interested in the coaching profession in school, colleges and universities should definitely take this opportunity.
The sports authority will offer a certificate course in the following sports; Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Fencing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Swimming, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Wushu, Yoga, Canoeing and Kayaking, and Rowing.
How to apply for the Certification
Go to the official website and download the application form. Alternatively, interested candidates can obtain the application from the office of the Deputy Director (Academics), Sports Authority of India, Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports.
