Maharashtra Government Postponed 10th and 12th Standard Examination

    The Maharashtra state government postponed the 10th and 12th standard upcoming examination date due to the exponential rise in COVID-19 cases.

    According to the official statement by state education minister Varsha Gaikwad, it’s not conducive to hold examination considering the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. The decision had been taken after consulting with education stakeholders, representative of political parties and others.

    Earlier, the state government took the decision to cancel the 9th and 11th standard examination and promote students accordingly.

    The 12th standard examination will be conducted at the end of May and the 10th standard student can expect an examination date in June.
